  1. I’m trying to get all of these programs and everything but now since i I changed everything to google and everything else I cannot navigate to get everything I need. Is there a way around this?

  3. Hi,

I am trying to remove Trovi and it just keeps coming back. I do not have Search Protect or the CtlMngSvc.exe showing on my computer. How can I remove please? Thank you so much

    1. You may scan with Trojan Killer to remove infections related to Trovi, and then reset your browser with Trojan Killer as explained. If you need free trial code for Trojan Killer – please let me know via chat (today). I will be off work tomorrow.

  4. Would you please give me a free trial for Trojan Killer. I am in the same boat. I wasn’t paying full attention when suddenly I got Trovi. As I realized what was happening I started deleting Search Project from the system as soon as it was uploading it. So I don’t have it anymore.

    1. Trovi can be removed for free through uninstalling Search Protect. Follow this guide more carefully and you will know how to do it.

  5. I have the strong impression that there’s only one simple way to get rid of this trovi garbage and all other kinds of nonsense, and that is by doing at least each half year a complete re-install of Windows and the of course the progs you had installed on it.

Simply because you get stuck in a web of people who all want to take bits and pieces of money from your wallets (as such justifyable, they did a lot of work to create their stuff) but more often than not it’s not just one piece of malware but much more, some of which you might not even see.

The day before yesterday I was stupid enough to accept Web.de’s Mailcheck assuming that it would be easy to remove if I didn’t like it. In reality it gave a lot of shit I didn’t want at all, altered my search engine, entered Amazon and Ebay and more in my toolbar, and so on. They gave instructions how to remove it from explorer by uninstalling their program in Windows but when I went there there was no Web.de mailcheck in the list. Further instructions how to modify were senseless because they only involved Explorer but i exclusively use Mozilla Firefox and it’s there where the mailcheck goodie has nestled itself.

In short, earn yourself a lot of money by taking the time to re-install – but don’t forget, do real harddisk format (not the superficial one) before reinstalling Windows. And if that’s not enough to really wipe out the bugs, do a deep format or low level format of your HD, then you’re real sure to not have any remnants left. I wish the authorities did as much about these vultures who are out to destroy our computers as they are willing to serve the interest of the copyrights industry…. I sometimes forget that givernment may be paid by our btaxes but of course they serve the corporate industries, not us.

  6. Trovi is the worst thing that has happened to my computer,
and uninstalling it does not work.

I’m afraid because I’m not a techie I will have to take my comp
    to get cleaned,money I don’t have,but I don’t want this Trovi
on my computer anymore,it’s driving me batty.

To anyone reading this,be careful what you download on the
    Internet.
