The message “Votre browser est bloqué pour des raisons de sécurité suivantes” is a new scam campaign running these days and attacking browsers in France. This is a product of cyber hackers who would like to get your money into their possession. This scam is designed in a manner that makes it look like a message from ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’information) and HADOPI (Haute Autorité pour la Diffusion des Oeuvres et la Protection des Droits sur Internet). But in reality none of these organizations is associated with this virus.

This scary message attacks browsers like Mozila Firefox, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Safari. Here is what its scary statement mentions on the particular system:

The virus blocks just browser, not the computer in general (unlike the case with other ransomware which are absolute computer lockers). It accuses you of committing various crimes online as mentioned above. As a penalty for doing such illegal things the virus prompts users into paying the fine (ransom) through Ukash or Paysafecard payment systems. However, doing so is a serious mistake.

In order to fix this problem you will need to reset your browser, whether it is Safari or Mozilla Firefox, or any other browser. Please find the instructions below that will help you understand how to do it.
